Professionals at VCI manage and construct your project in the highest of professional manners. Our General Contracting and Construction Management approach begins with interaction with the Client to understand their perception of the project and end goals. We take the time to review client drawings to make sure that they are complete and accurate prior to development of a bid. Our clients can rest assured that the pricing is competitive due to the fact that we maintain strong relationships with many subcontractors and have a vast ability to self perform many of the work tasks with internal forces. When the project commences, a full time superintendent is assigned to oversee the project, VCI workers and subcontractors. VCI instills safety procedures as a priority for all on-site personnel. VCI maintains safety as priority one and VCI staff audits all projects on an on-going basis. The management staff conducts scheduled progress meetings and keeps everyone updated on the scheduled progress. Such meetings include overview of construction trades, timeline scheduling with CPM management and budgetary status of the project. At the completion of the construction project we make certain that all remaining punch list items are satisfactorily completed. Documentation such as: certificate of substantial completion, final waivers of lien and all remaining project close out documents are submitted allowing final payment and retainer to be executed. Closeout packages are assembled as necessary with all required documentation and warrantees for submission to clients upon final payment. Our philosophy to Design/Build is to establish relationships with architectural and consulting firms, which allows us to take an owners idea and convert it into reality. We become involved during the early planning phases of your project producing accurate budgets and schedules which the Owner can rely on for budgeting. We coordinate the design, development and construction project, which in turn saves you money, time, unnecessary changes in project scope and budget and enhances communication between all parties.
